Can support recover my wallet if I lose my seed phrase?
No. Privacy Z Wallet is fully self-custody — we never hold your keys or a copy of your seed. Store your 24 words offline in at least two places.
Why is my shielded balance still syncing?
Shielded notes are scanned locally for privacy. The first sync scans historical compact blocks and can take a few minutes; later syncs are near-instant.
What fee does a shielded transaction pay?
Fees follow the Zcash ZIP-317 standard and are typically a fraction of a cent. The wallet shows the exact fee before you confirm.
Do you support transparent (t) addresses?
Yes — you can receive to a unified address, but the wallet nudges funds into the shielded pool so your spending stays private.
Will you ever ask for my seed phrase?
Never. Any message asking for your recovery phrase is a scam, even if it appears to come from us.
