What we collect
Nothing that identifies you. Privacy Z Wallet has no accounts, no email sign-up and no KYC. We do not collect names, addresses, phone numbers or device identifiers.
Privacy Policy
Privacy Z Wallet is built so that there is almost nothing about you to store in the first place.
Your keys and seed phrase
Seed phrases and viewing keys are generated on your device and stored in your device's secure storage. They are never transmitted to us and we have no way to recover them for you.
Transaction data
Shielded Zcash transactions encrypt sender, recipient, amount and memo on-chain. Note scanning happens locally, so no server learns which transactions belong to you.
Network connections
The wallet connects to Zcash light-wallet servers to fetch compact blocks and broadcast transactions. You may point the wallet at your own server, and Tor routing is supported.
Analytics and tracking
There is no behavioural analytics, no advertising SDK and no third-party trackers in the wallet or on this website. Crash reports, if enabled, are opt-in and stripped of wallet data.
Support communication
If you email support, we keep only the thread needed to answer you and delete it afterwards. Support will never ask for your recovery phrase.
Changes to this policy
Material changes are announced in-app and on this page before they take effect.
